Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) FAQs

    • The co-pay amount is decided based on your family’s income, expenses, family size, the number of students in the program, and any special circumstances.

    • Families live in Illinois School Districts 187 or 189, pay their tuition co-pay, and students maintain an average grade of C or higher.

    • ACS will work with you, the school, afterschool programs, and other resource partners to provide extra support. ACS is dedicated to helping your student succeed in the program.

    • ACS encourages student participation in an afterschool program for academic support and social emotional development.

    • Yes! If your enrolled student(s) continues to attend your school of choice and meets the other TAP eligibility guidelines.
